In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 75 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll Halmstad handboll 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Höörs HK H 65 1, H43 Lund HF 4, Uppsala HK 1, Önnereds HK 2, Åhus Handboll 1, Vetlanda HF 2, Vinslövs HK 1, Kävlinge HK 1 and Huddinge HK 3.

Halmstad Handboll Halmstad handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2 with 5-8. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over Vinslövs HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Halmstad Handboll also participated in Flickor 2006 D2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F06 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Vinslövs HK 2 with 8-10.
