In addition to the two Veberöds teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Veberöds HK 1 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Malmö HF 2, Hammarby IF HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby, H 78 Sölvesborg, IFK Bankeryd 1, Lödde Vikings HK 4, IFK Kristianstad 2 and Bjärnums HK 2.

Veberöds HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Ankaret - Hajarna with 2-9. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 1 won over Lödde Vikings HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Veberöds HK also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in F08 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Tyresö Handboll with 5-9.
