In addition to the two Bjärnums teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Bjärnums HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Malmö HF 2, Hammarby IF HF 2, Veberöds HK 1, IK Lågan Hörby, H 78 Sölvesborg, IFK Bankeryd 1, Lödde Vikings HK 4 and IFK Kristianstad 2.

Bjärnums HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Trelleborg Handbollsklubb TF with 2-6. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over IFK Bankeryd 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Bjärnums HK also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F08 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Trelleborg HBK with 2-5.
