IF Swithiod was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with one team in Pojkar 2003.
In addition to IF Swithiod, 69 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IF Swithiod could be found in Group 5 together with Göinge HK, Lugi HF 4, HK Aranäs 1, Hultsfreds HF, H43 Lund HF 3, Eskilstuna Guif IF 1, Alingsås HK 1, Eslövs HF 2 and IFK Kristianstad 2. IF Swithiod continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 10-12. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 2 won over Alingsås HK 5 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003. Swithiod comes from Hägersten which lies approximately 430 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
