In addition to the three Eskilstuna Guif teams, 67 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Göinge HK, Lugi HF 4, HK Aranäs 1, Hultsfreds HF, H43 Lund HF 3, Alingsås HK 1, IF Swithiod, Eslövs HF 2 and IFK Kristianstad 2.

Eskilstuna Guif IF 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 10-12. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.
