In addition to IK Lågan Hörby, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby could be found in Group 3 together with H43 Lund HF 6, OV Helsingborg HK, Eskilstuna Guif IF, Växjö HF, IK Bolton 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, HK Aranäs, Alingsås HK and Tyresö Handboll.

IK Lågan Hörby continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IK Bolton 4 with 5-7. In the Final, IK Bolton 4 won over IFK Kristianstad 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2001 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in P01 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 10-12.
