In addition to the four Bolton teams, 53 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IK Bolton 4 could be found in Group 4 together with Ystads IF HF 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, Eslövs HF 2, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 2, Uppsala HK 2, IK Sävehof 2, H43 Lund HF Big Ballers and Åhus Handboll 3.

IK Bolton 4 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 3, which they won with 9-7. Thereby IK Bolton 4 won the entire C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
