In addition to the four IFK Kristianstad teams, 76 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Strängnäs, HK Aranäs 2, Vinslövs HK 1, Spånga HK, Tollarps IF 2, Lugi HF 1, Eksjö BK EBK, IFK Ystad HK and Önnereds HK.
IFK Kristianstad 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Raklev G&I 1 with 10-11. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005. IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
