In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 78 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK Blå could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 2, IF HV Tidaholm, HF Limhamn Vit, IK Bolton 2, Ronneby HK 1, Lödde Vikings HK Röd, HK Aranäs 1, Åhus Handboll 3 and Vinslövs HK 2.

Borlänge HK Blå continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 4-7. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Borlänge HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Spånga HK with 8-15.
