In addition to the three Åhus teams, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 3 could be found in Group 2 together with Uppsala HK 2, IF HV Tidaholm, HF Limhamn Vit, IK Bolton 2, Ronneby HK 1, Lödde Vikings HK Röd, Borlänge HK Blå, HK Aranäs 1 and Vinslövs HK 2.

Åhus Handboll 3 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK 1 with 6-10. In the Final, Kävlinge HK 1 won over Ystads IF HF 5 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the Semi final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 12-13.
