In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 41 other teams played in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 3 could be found in Group 3 together with Ystads IF HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Borlänge HK 1, IK Sävehof, Uppsala HK 1, H43 Lund HF 1, Lödde Vikings HK vikings 1 and Hammarby IF HF.

Halmstad Handboll 3 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against IFK Kristianstad 1, which they won with 14-6. Thereby Halmstad Handboll 3 won the entire B-Slutspel in Pojkar 17 år (födda 2005) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
