In addition to the two Ystads teams, 25 other teams played in Flickor 18 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Uppsala HK 3, Halmstad Handboll, Falu HK, Alingsås HK F06 2, Lödde Vikings HK 1, IFK Kristianstad, Spånga HK X and Haninge HK 060708.

Ystads IF HF 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK (06) with 8-10. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over Lugi HF and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 18 år (födda 2005).

Ystads IF HF also participated in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They reached the final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Huddinge HK 2 with 8-12 and ended up in second place.
