In addition to the two Ystads teams, 49 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Kristianstad HK 1, H43 Lund HF Blå, Huddinge HK, Eslövs IK EIK 1, Lödde Vikings HK Vit, Haninge HK Blå and Höörs HK H 65 Röd 07.
Ystads IF HF 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Höörs HK H 65 Svart 07, which they won with 11-9. Thereby Ystads IF HF 1 won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. Ystads IF HF also participated in Flickor 15 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
