In addition to MÅSTE VILA, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof MÅSTE VILA could be found in Group 1 together with Sommarbyns HK, SALOS DRÄPARE, Det är något med vattnet, Sandboll HC, Guldkustens HK, Genföreningen Junior H43 and GB Glace.

MÅSTE VILA continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BATMAN with 9-16. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

MÅSTE VILA originates from Åhus, which is the same city as where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around åhus does also provide 48 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Fräcka Falkarna 3, Gott & blandat, IF Kristianstad, Ceimertz, Jaga FC, Avgå Alla, Åhus Horna BK, Freaks in the Spreadsheets, KaffeKaga Beach Handball Club and Kristianstad HK).
