Chalmers HK was one of 250 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with four teams in Öppen klass Herrar Classic and Öppen klass Damer Classic respectively. The team in Öppen klass Damer Classic made it to the the 1/4 Final in B-Slutspel, but lost it against Djurgården by 8-9.
In addition to this, Chalmers HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023, Chalmers had two teams playing in Öppen klass Herrar and Senior Förening Damer respectively. The team in Senior Förening Damer made it to the the in Gruppspel, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 by 3-10. Chalmers comes from GÖTEBORG which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around GÖTEBORG does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Backa HK, Särökometernas HK, Baguese HSC, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Kärra HF, BK Hisingen, HK Aranäs, Näsby F01, Temp OH and IK Sävehof).
