Näsby F01 ÖKD Classic

Näsby F01 was one of 251 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

In addition to Näsby F01, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer Classic. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Näsby F01 could be found in Group 3 together with Temp OH, Hökarna, Skandinaviska unionen, Spånga Sandboll, Hultas flickor, Kävlinge HK ’s red flags and Kosläpp.

Näsby F01 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Team van Stam with 10-14. In the Final, Team van Stam won over Skandinaviska unionen and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer Classic.

Näsby F01 comes from Västra Frölunda which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Västra Frölunda does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2024 (Among others: Backa HK, Särökometernas HK, Baguese HSC, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Kärra HF, BK Hisingen, Frillesås Bridge Förening, HK Aranäs, Temp OH and IK Sävehof).
