In addition to the four H43 Lund teams, 62 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof H43 Lund 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Karlskrona Handboll 3, Borås HK 84 2, IFK Tumba Sthlm 1, Eksjö BK, Uppsala HK 2, Önnereds HK Gbg 2, IFK Kristianstad 4, Vinslövs HK and Hässleholms HF.

H43 Lund 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 10-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Uppsala HK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2.
