In addition to the two Skogås Sthlm teams, 64 other teams played in Pojkar 2001 B2. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Skogås HK Sthlm 1 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Bankeryd 2, Växjö HF 2, IK Lågan Hörby 1, H43 Lund 3, Halmstad Handboll 1, IK Sävehof Partille, Norrköpings HK, Kävlinge HK 1 and Eslövs HF 1.

Skogås HK Sthlm 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Uppsala HK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001 B2.
