Falköpings AIK HK was one of 324 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Falköpings AIK HK, 31 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Falköpings AIK HK could be found in Group 3 together with Wild Ones, InTeern, "Vi har också mutat domaren", Åhus Handboll, BK Halvmiss, Ellisarna med flera and Halmstad Handboll. Falköpings AIK HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against dead man walking with 8-11. In the Final, Uffes Brudar won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Falköpings AIK comes from Falköping which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
