In addition to the three Uppsala teams, 40 other teams played in Herrar Junior 98-00. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Halmstad Handboll 3, OV Helsingborg HK, Rørby/Værslev IF, IK Baltichov 3, Tyresö Handboll 1, HK Malmö 2, Eslövs HF and Vinslövs HK.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof with 10-13. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over IK Sävehof and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 98-00.

Uppsala HK also participated in Herrar Junior 97-99 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the Semi final in H97-99 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Ankaret Bjärred with 8-11.
