In addition to Uppsala HK, 69 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK could be found in Group 2 together with Lödde Vikings HK, Åhus Handboll 3, Sollentuna HK, AIK Handbollsförening 1, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll, Lugi HF 4, Höörs HK H 65 2, Borlänge HK 4 and IK Lågan Hörby 1.

Uppsala HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Borlänge HK 2 with 7-9. In the Final, Vinslövs HK won over H43 Lund HF 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Uppsala HK also participated in Flickor 2002 B2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Kärra HF Göteborg 2 with 12-13.
