In addition to the two Uppsala teams, 55 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Ystads IF HF 2, Halmstad Handboll 2, IK Bolton 4, Eslövs HF 2, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll 2, IK Sävehof 2, H43 Lund HF Big Ballers and Åhus Handboll 3.

Uppsala HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 4 with 8-9. In the Final, IK Sävehof 1 won over Göteborg Beach Handball Club (Borlänge HK) and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.

Uppsala HK also participated in Pojkar 2001 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK with 9-12.
