Uppsala HK was one of 254 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They participated with 34 teams in 17 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 32 categories. Four teams played until 1/4 Final in A-Slutspel; Pojkar 2002 2 lost against H43 Lund HF migogang by 8-9, Flickor 2001 1 lost against Borlänge HK 1 by 8-11, Herrar Junior 98-00 1 lost against IK Sävehof by 10-13 and Damer Junior 98-00 2 lost against Borlänge HK by 9-10.
In addition to this, Uppsala HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017, Uppsala had 38 teams playing in 18 out of Åhus Beachhandboll Festivals all 29 categories. Two teams played until Final in A-Slutspel; Flickor 2001 A1 1 won over Gustavsbergs IF HK by 8-6 and Damer Junior 97-99 1 won over Eslövs IK by 10-8. Uppsala comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 480 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide five additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018 (Cobran, KSK ULTRAS, Electric Banana Band, Vassunda IF and USIF).
