In addition to the three Uppsala teams, 22 other teams played in Damer Junior 98-00. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Uppsala HK 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2, Särökometernas HK, Kristianstad HK, Höörs HK H 65 1, Vinslövs HK, H43 Lund HF 1 and Huddinge HK 1.

Uppsala HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK with 10-11. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Damer Junior 98-00.

Uppsala HK also participated in Damer Junior 97-99 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Eslövs IK in the final with 10-8.
