In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 23 other teams played in Damer Junior 98-00. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Särökometernas HK, Kristianstad HK, Höörs HK H 65 1, Uppsala HK 1, Vinslövs HK, H43 Lund HF 1 and Huddinge HK 1.

Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 5-18. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Damer Junior 98-00.
