In addition to the two Trelleborg teams, 23 other teams played in Damer Junior 98-00. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Uppsala HK 3, Borlänge HK, Bjärnums HK, Lugi HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Kävlinge HK, IFK Tumba HK and Alingsås HK.
Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1 made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK with 9-11.
