In addition to Alingsås HK, 24 other teams played in Damer Junior 98-00. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK could be found in Group 1 together with Uppsala HK 3, Borlänge HK, Bjärnums HK, Lugi HF, IFK Kristianstad 2, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb 1, Kävlinge HK and IFK Tumba HK.

Alingsås HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK 2 with 8-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Damer Junior 98-00.
