In addition to Ystads IF HF, 48 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF could be found in Group 2 together with Veberöds HK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Alingsås HK 2, Älta IF 1, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb TF, IFK Tumba HK 1, Åhus Handboll 2 and Staffanstorps HK.

Ystads IF HF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Malmö HF 1 with 3-5. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over IFK Bankeryd 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Ystads IF HF also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the Semi final in F08 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Bankeryd with 3-4.
