In addition to the two Åhus teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Veberöds HK 2, H43 Lund HF 3, Lödde Vikings HK 2, Alingsås HK 2, Älta IF 1, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb TF, IFK Tumba HK 1, Ystads IF HF and Staffanstorps HK.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 1 with 3-11. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 1 won over Lödde Vikings HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F08 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Hammarby IF Sthlm with 2-6.
