Åhus Handboll made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK with 8-9. Thereby Åhus Handboll finished second in SFH A-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. Åhus Handboll also participated in Elit Herr during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017.
