Åhus Handboll F04 1

In addition to the three Åhus teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 1 could be found in Group 5 together with Höörs HK H 65 3, Uppsala HK 1, Eslövs IK 4, Vetlanda HF 1, Borlänge HK 2, Lugi HF 1, Kävlinge HK 2, Gustavsbergs IF HK and OV Helsingborg HK 2.

Åhus Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK with 7-10. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK 2 won over Lödde Vikings HK 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2004 C2 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 3 with 10-11 and ended up in second place.
