In addition to the two Åhus teams, 68 other teams played in Pojkar 2003. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 3 together with HK Ankaret, Kungsängens SK 2, IFK Kristianstad 3, Eskilstuna Guif IF 3, HK Hylte, IK Lågan Hörby, Ronneby HK 1, GF Kroppskultur Vit and H43 Lund HF 4.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 6-12. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over IFK Kristianstad 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2003.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2003 B1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/8 Final in P03 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Eslövs HF 2 with 5-8.
