In addition to the two IFK Malmö teams, 47 other teams played in Flickor 2008. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Malmö HF 1 could be found in Group 4 together with HK Ankaret - Pirayorna, IFK Kristianstad 1, Tollarps IF 2, Bjärnums HK 1, Hammarby IF HF 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1, Gökstens BK 2, Föreningen Karlskrona Handboll and Trelleborg Handbollsklubb RB.

IFK Malmö HF 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK with 4-9. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over IFK Bankeryd 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2008.

IFK Malmö HF also participated in Flickor 2008 E during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in F08 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 3-7.
