In addition to Ystads IF HF, 78 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF could be found in Group 8 together with Uppsala HK 3, Vinslövs HK, Särökometernas HK Blå, Gustavsbergs IF HK 1, Falu HK, IFK Kristianstad 2, Skå IK o Bygdegård 2, Skara HF and H43 Lund HF 3.

Ystads IF HF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK MG with 7-8. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 3 won over Eslövs IK Svart and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Ystads IF HF also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F05 B-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 5-10.
