In addition to HK Ankaret, 28 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof HK Ankaret Röd could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Tumba HK 1, IF Hallby HK 2, Staffanstorps HK, KFUM Lundagård, Kärra HF 1, Back on Track Beachhandbolls Club, IK Lågan Hörby, Halmstad Handboll and Eslövs IK 2.

HK Ankaret Röd continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge HK with 6-9. In the Final, Vassunda IF won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2001.

HK Ankaret also participated in Flickor 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 3 with 7-8.
