In addition to the two Eslövs teams, 27 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Eslövs IK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with IFK Tumba HK 1, IF Hallby HK 2, Staffanstorps HK, KFUM Lundagård, Kärra HF 1, Back on Track Beachhandbolls Club, IK Lågan Hörby, HK Ankaret Röd and Halmstad Handboll.

Eslövs IK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 10-11. In the Final, Kärra HF 1 won over IFK Kristianstad and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2001.

Eslövs IK also participated in Flickor 2001 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F01 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 2 with 7-8.
