In addition to the three Ovesholms teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ovesholms IF 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Eslövs IK 1, Huddinge HK 2, Lödde Vikings HK 1, Kärra HF svart, IFK Malmö HF gul, Kungälvs HK svart, HK Eskil 1, HK Ankaret Vit and H43 Lund HF 2 NF.

Ovesholms IF 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK Vit with 10-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.
