In addition to the three Ovesholms teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Ovesholms IF 3 could be found in Group 4 together with KFUM Kalmar HK, Höörs HK H 65 3, Huddinge HK 1, Kungälvs HK grön, IFK Malmö HF blå, Uppsala HK 2, Lugi HF 3, Borlänge HK and Staffanstorps HK Röd.

Ovesholms IF 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF Lund ÖT with 11-15. In the Final, Kristianstad HK won over Lödde Vikings HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.
