In addition to Borlänge HK, 79 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK could be found in Group 4 together with KFUM Kalmar HK, Höörs HK H 65 3, Huddinge HK 1, Kungälvs HK grön, IFK Malmö HF blå, Uppsala HK 2, Lugi HF 3, Ovesholms IF 3 and Staffanstorps HK Röd.

Borlänge HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ovesholms IF 1 with 8-13. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK 2 with 9-16.
