In addition to Ystads IF HF, 46 other teams played in Flickor 17 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF could be found in Group 1 together with Skövde HF 2, Halmstad Handboll 2 Svart, Åhus Handboll, Lugi HF 1, Lödde Vikings HK Svart, Kristianstad HK 07, HK Björnen, Uppsala HK 1 and Tollarps IF 1.
Ystads IF HF continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 3 Rosa with 8-15.
