In addition to the three Åhus teams, 54 other teams played in Pojkar 12 år Classic (födda 2012). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 2 together with Ronneby HK 1, Växjö HF 1, Skuru IK vit, IK Lågan Hörby 2, Falköpings AIK HK Svart, Hässleholms HF 2, IFK Malmö HF 1 and Dalby GIF Blå.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Staffanstorps HK with 8-12. In the Final, Staffanstorps HK won over Ystads IF HF Blå and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 12 år Classic (födda 2012).
