In addition to the two Näsby teams, 41 other teams played in Flickor 2006 D1. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Näsby Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Ljunghusens HK 1, Kristianstad HK 1, Hammarby IF Sthlm, Trelleborg HBK 1, Vinslövs HK 1, LVHK Lödde 1, Eslövs IK 2, IK Lågan Hörby, H43 Lund 3 and Bjärnums HK.

Näsby Handboll 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK 2 with 2-6. In the Final, Ronneby HK 1 won over Ljunghusens HK 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006 D1.
