Gold medal! Won the entire C-Slutspel! Congratulations!

In addition to the two Ystads teams, 48 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Ystads IF HF 2 could be found in Group 1 together with IK Cyrus JKöping, Åhus Handboll 1, Borlänge HK, Uppsala HK 2, Rimbo HK Roslagen, Skånela IF Märsta, IFK Kristianstad 2, Bromölla AIK and OV Helsingborg HK.

Ystads IF HF 2 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Karlskrona Handboll 3, which they won with 15-10. Thereby Ystads IF HF 2 won the entire C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
