In addition to the three Karlskrona teams, 47 other teams played in Pojkar 2000 A1. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Karlskrona Handboll 3 could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Tumba Sthlm 2, Vinslövs HK, Kävlinge HK, Norrköpings HK 1, LVHK Lödde, Skogås HK Sthlm 2, KFUM Kalmar HK 2, Halmstad Handboll 2 and H43 Lund 1.

Karlskrona Handboll 3 made it to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 2 with 10-15. Thereby Karlskrona Handboll 3 finished second in P00 C-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016.
