In addition to Borlänge HK, 46 other teams played in Flickor 2000 A2. They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK could be found in Group 4 together with Eslövs IK, H43 Lund 3, H 65 Höör 2, Westermalms IF Sthlm westermalm, IFK Bankeryd, Uppsala HK 2 and IFK Tumba Sthlm IFK Tumba.

Borlänge HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Uppsala HK 1 with 8-11. In the Final, Trelleborg HBK 1 won over Eslövs IK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2000 A2.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2000 A1 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2016. They reached the 1/4 Final in F00 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Tumba Sthlm 1 with 13-14.
