In addition to the two Åhus teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll Lag 2 could be found in Group 7 together with Mölndals HF, Lindeskolans IF, Höörs HK H 65 2, GW Landskrona HK, Uppsala HK 1, Hammarby IF HF Vit, OV Helsingborg HK Grön, Halmstad Handboll 1 and Lugi HF 1.

Åhus Handboll Lag 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IK Sävehof with 9-12. In the Final, Kristianstad HK won over Lödde Vikings HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Flickor 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 1 with 10-11.
