In addition to the two Växjö teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Växjö HF Gul could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstad HK 1, Eslövs IK 3, Uppsala HK 2, Falköpings AIK HK ORANGE, IK Bolton Gul, Huddinge HK 2, Lugi HF 3, Rørby/Værslev IF and IK Lågan Hörby.

Växjö HF Gul continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 4-6. In the Final, GF Kroppskultur won over Ronneby HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Växjö HF also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Tollarps IF 2 with 4-12.
