In addition to the two Bolton teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Bolton Gul could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstad HK 1, Eslövs IK 3, Uppsala HK 2, Växjö HF Gul, Falköpings AIK HK ORANGE, Huddinge HK 2, Lugi HF 3, Rørby/Værslev IF and IK Lågan Hörby.

IK Bolton Gul continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against VästeråsIrsta HF with 10-12. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

IK Bolton also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the Semi final in F06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Ljunghusens HK with 4-6.
