In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 77 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Eslövs IK Rosa, Huddinge HK 2, Särökometernas HK Grön, HK Aranäs 3, OV Helsingborg HK MS, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, Lidingö SK Blå, H43 Lund HF 4 and Eskilstuna Guif IF 2.

Borlänge HK 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sollentuna HK with 6-7. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK 3 won over Eslövs IK Svart and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 6-9.
