In addition to the two Borlänge teams, 77 other teams from 3 different countries played in Flickor 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Borlänge HK 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Huddinge HK 1, Uppsala HK 5, Alingsås HK F06 blå, Sollentuna HK, OV Helsingborg HK MG, Elvebyen HK, Kristianstad HK 1, Lödde Vikings HK 1 and Eslövs IK.

Borlänge HK 2 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lidingö SK Blå with 7-10. In the Final, Raklev G&I 2 won over Alingsås HK 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2005.

Borlänge HK also participated in Flickor 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in F05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 6-9.
